The mortal remains of Rupi Soren, mother of Chief Minister Hemant Soren are going to by consigned to flames at their native village Nemra in Ramgarh district today ( October 8,2026).

Nemra is the home village of the Soren family. It is here where former Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren was consigned to flames on August 5,2025.

More than one year later,she, who passed away at the Hill View Hospital and Research Centre in Ranchi on October 7, 2026, at the age of 80, will be cremated. Sadly, the CM Soren is now parentless.

She has died on October 7, 2026, at approximately 8:30 PM.

She was admitted on September 18, 2026, suffering from breathing difficulties and age-related multiple complications, later being placed on ventilator support.

Her mortal remains are going to be consigned to flames by his elder son and Chief Minister Hemant Soren who had performed last rites of his father Soren.
