“The state government is committed to promote Chhau dance”,said the state government Art and Culture Director Anil Kumar Singh.

“Chhau dance is part of our culture and tradition.This has not only to be guarded,but its artists have to be helped and awarded to make them contribute their talent at the national level”,said Singh today while addressing a meeting held on the occasion of the fourth day of the Chhau Mahotsav in Saraikela-Kharsawan.

In any case,the Chhau dance programme participated by 20 teams from across the country,was the centre of attraction.Each team comprised 20 dancers.As such, 400 Chhau dancers left the entire stadium rocking.
