A day before the 2015-16 fiscal ends on March 31,the state Finance Department chief and Principal Secretary Amit Khare directed all Deputy Commissioners in Jharkhand to ensure that financial rules and regulations were followed in letter and spirit.

He also directed them to test check 25 bills and 25 cheques to check and record that transparency was strictly followed in the new fiscal 2016-17.Kumar today addressed the DCs through video conference held at Nepal House in Ranchi.

“At all cost financial discipline must be maintained”,observed Principal Secretary(Finance) adding that financial irregularity will not be tolerated.”All officers must keep in mind that transparency was maintained in disposal of bills:,he said.
