For the first time,the state government led by Chief Minister Raghubar Das today tabled annual budget-2016-17 with an outlay of Rs 4845.72 crore for the agriculture sector on the floor of the Jharkhand Assembly today .

The agriculture budget proposal offers single window system to attract investment in the agriculture sector.Under this scheme,farmers are to be provided training to undertake modern agriculture practices.

Also,the agriculture budget proposal aims to use the water of the village in the village itself under its slogan-Gaon Ka Paani Gaon Me,Khet Ka Paani Khet Me.’
