Kerosene prices will rise by 17 paisa after the hike in commission paid to wholesale dealers.

Commission paid to wholesale dealers, who get licence under Form XV, has been raised from Rs 536.09 per kilolitre (KL) to Rs 714.18 per kl, an increase of Rs 178.09 per kl or Rs 0.17 per litre.

For wholesale dealers other than From XV, the commission has been hiked from Rs 475.58 per kl to Rs 649.16 per kl, an increase of R 173.58 per kl or Rs 0.17 per litre, the Oil Ministry said in an order.
