In order to promote the state tourism, Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has said that Surajkund in Hazaribagh district would be developed as a major tourist destination because of its hot spring attraction.

He said the government has a plan to have a park, eateries, cottages for accommodating tourists, and quality road leading to Surajkund.

The chief minister also announced to develop a rope way from one hill to another surrounding Surajkund.
