Jharkhand has secured second position in the National Food Festival.

This National Food-Food Court- Festival,organised by a body of Keralaites in Thiruananthapuram,was held on December 23-January 2,2016.Jharkhand State Livlihood Promotion Society reepresenting Jharkhand took part in it and secured second position.

At this Food Court,the representatives of the Khuntpani in Chaibasa based Mahila Gram Sanghatan took part in catering.Its women led by Khuntpani based women,supported by Shimla Banra and Suvit Xavier took part in the Food Court and succeeded in gaining second position.

These Jharkhandi women cooked and offered ‘Jharkhandi Thali’.”During the eight days of the Food Court,Jharkhandi food was most sought after by the visitors”,claimed Banra.
