Jharkhand is going to get in touch with Japan to introduce ‘Ajiwika Vridhi Yojna(Increase Job Plan)for the villagers in the state,said Minister of Rural Development Nilkanth Singh Munda.

This ‘Increase Job Plan’ is set to be billed as ‘Johar Yojna’,said the Minister.”In January 2016,make plan(Yojna Banao) scheme is going to be introduced”,said the Minister while addressing media persons today.

The Minister,who was accompanied by Principal Secretary(Rural Development)N.N.Sinha,said that 3032 Panchayat villages were already given Tablets.

“With an aim to increase the livelihood and securing the backing of Japan,Rs 282 crore project was prepared to provide irrigation facilities to 30,000 villagers in the state.Toward this end,the project was already forwarded to the Japan government,said the Minister.

For the Johar Yojna,the World Bank was approached for Rs 875 crore investment.Similarly,NABARD was approached for Rs 347 crore investement for water harvesting.

More,proposal was sent to the Centre for development of 500 ‘model’ Panchayat villages.At the same time,13 areas in most extremist affected zone of the state were identified to make available basic facilities,strengthen administration and increase facilities connected with livelihood,said the Minister inside the Suchna Bhawan in Ranchi.
