The most significant achievement of the state government during the past one year was setting up of the Bharatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan(BKSS),said Jharkhand Agriculture Minister Randhir Kumar Singh.

The Centre has set up Bharatiya Krishi Anushandhan Sansthan at Goriakarma village in Barhi block of Hazaribagh district.”This Sansthan will boost the image of the state and pave the way for green revolution in Jharkhand”,said the Minister.

Singh,who addressed the media persons inside the Suchna Bhavan in Ranchi today,said that in the draught affected areas,the state government is running relief operation and the Centre was apprised of the situation prevalent there.

“The Centre has promised to provide all possible assistance and help”,said Singh.
