Jharkhand Education Minister Neera Yadav today said that the state government is working to turn the state as a hub of education.

“We are attaching significance to higher education and technical education.The representatives of the private universities have shown interest in the state”,said the Minister adding that the education department has introduced Tall Free number to facilitate people to lodge complaint and suggestions.

“To turn the state as a hub of education,the state government has made plans.”Some of these plans were executed;some schemes were in the process of implementation.As soon as these schemes get implemented,the people of the state will not be compelled to go to other state for primary education and higher education”,said the Minister addressing the media persons today.

The Minister informed that 8000 students of 203 Kasturba Gandhi Girls Schools are being given Tablets,the Minister said.”In 29 centres E-Education programme is being provided to students so that students remaining away from home can get good educarion”,she said.

The Minister said that 4552 Inter educated teachers and 487 Urdu teachers were appointed for primary schools.
