The works carried out by the National Horticulture Mission in Jharkhand were reviewed today by the Union Agriculture Cooperative,Farmers Welfare Ministry’s Additional Secretary Asok Dalwai.

Dalwai visited the farm of Balak Mahato at Kutchu village under Ormanjhi Block in Ranchi district and saw the plants of tomatos and beans cultivated by him inside the poly house under integrated gardening scheme as well as different minor techniques of gardening such as micro irrigation,cold room,pack house,poultry,fishing and safe gardening used by him.

Dalwai,who was accompanied by Jharkhand State Horticulture Mission’s Director Dr Prabhakar Singh and other office bearers like J.P.Tiwari and Sanjay Kumar Sahu,expressed satisfaction and happiness over these works done by Mahato, and heard the problems being faced by the farmers there.
