Hindu Parishad patriarch Ashok Singhal, who was admitted to Medanta hospital in Gurgaon following chest infection, died today, a VHP spokesperson said.
Ashok Singhal will be remembered as the chief architect of the Ramjanmabhoomi movement.
Born on September 15, 1926, he was the international working president of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) for over 20 years.
