By participating in the Diwali Mela organised by the I.P.S.Officers Wives Association,Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu today expressed her happiness by inaugurating it in Ranchi.
She said that she was feeling nice not only because the I.P.S. officers were doing duty by a strong sense of commitment and duty,but their wives were involved in social service.”No other work can be a better source of satisfaction than doing social work’,she said.
“You provide full time to your family,but you also find time to do work for the society.Keep on working for the poor and neglected people.This will help the society and its welfare and make you feel good because you will feel that you had done something”,she opined.
The Governor said that she was feeling nice to learn that the fund gathered through the Diwali Mela organised by IPSOWA will benefit the talented children of junior police personnel and their family members who faced the health problem.’For this great work,I congratulate all members of the IPSOWA”,said the Governor.
