Top brass comprising Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma and DGP DK Pandey today visited Latehar and reviewed the development scheme meant for the Maoist infested areas under Saryu Action Plan.The CS directed concerned officials not to lag behind in taking forward the development works door-to -door."Ensure that development reaches every home and village",she said.
"Priority of the government is ensure that not one child was left illiterate.Conduct survey by visiting door-to-door,prepare a profile and see to it that every drop out child was brought back to school",said the CS.
The CS advised them to take help of the security forces-CRPF,BRP and panchayat Secretariat staff to get the girls admitted at Kasturba Gandhi Residential schools",said the CS.Incidentally,Saryu Action Plan aiming to develop maoist infested areas in Latehar was launched in 2013.
