A three-day programme of World Forestry day concluded today at Palas Hall of Van Bhawan campus.World Forestry Day or International Day of Forests is celebrated worldwide on 21st of March every year.It is celebrated with the intention to increase the public awareness among communities about the values, significance, and contributions of the forests to balance the life cycle on the earth.
The celebration started with wall painting and canvas painting by the school students and other participants.
A large number of students took part in the three-day event.324 students of 9 schools and colleges participated in wall painting. 33 person's participated in canvas painting. All the participants were given memento at the end of the programme by PCCF wildlife and Chief Wildlife Warden L.R. Singh.
