XAVIER INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL SERVICE(XISS) organized the farewell ceremony for the students of PGDM batch of 2016-18 today in the college courtyard. The students of first-year along with the Faculty and Staff of the Institute bid adieu to the outgoing students with a heavy heart and best wishes for their future.

The farewell ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Dr. Fr. Alexius Ekka, SJ, Director, Xavier Institute of Social Service, Fr. Pradeep Kerketta, SJ, Assistant Director, Fr. Xavier Soreng, SJ, Head of the Departments, Xavier Institute of Social Service and distinguished guests and faculty. The event started off with an inaugural song by the students of Department of Human Resource Management followed by the speeches of the Class Representatives of all the departments of batch of 2016-18. Various song and dance performances were put up by the Departments of Rural Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management and Information Technology to make the evening memorable for the outgoing batch.

The college dance group Pulse put up an exuberant dance performance followed by felicitation ceremony by the Director of the Institute. The Assistant Director blessed the outgoing batch and extended his good wishes to them for a bright, successful and prosperous future ahead in their lives.

The program ended with the performance of the college band MAXISS, belting out peppy beats as well as nostalgic numbers taking everyone on an emotional roller coaster ride. The day ended with dinner followed by a DJ performance.
