She is Deepika Kumari. She had clinched gold medal in the women's recurve event at the World Cup(Stage III) to qualify for the circuit Final later this year.She is Madhumita Kumari who won a silver medal in the 18th Asian Games in archery.

Both are from Jharkhand.If Deepika is from Ranchi, Madhumita from neighbouring town Ramgarh.They were trained in archery from TATA academy,Jamshedpur. 

These two female archers have brought laurels to the State and made the country proud, Madhumita and her team won a silver medal in the 18th Asian Games in archery on August 28.

Madhumita's Archery Coach Prakash Ram informed that she had,so far, won as many as 50 medals in different State and National level events. 

When she returns hometown Ranchi-Ramgarh,she will get red carpet welcome."We are feeling great that she has made a name for herself,state and the nation",said Kumkum Kumari, an archer who is being trained at Tata Academy.

Even Chief Minister Raghubar Das has expressed happiness over Madhumita's grand victory and announced a cash award of Rs 10 lakh for the archer for winning a silver medal in the 18th Asiad being held in Jakarta.
