After 'Momentum Jharkhand', it is 'Organic Farming.'The Raghubar Das government's half a dozen departments had spent crores of rupees to make Chief Minister Raghubar Das and his team of officials go abroad, hold Road Shows in Metros and hold mega investors' meeting in the state capital in 2017.

Though the government claims to have signed scores of MoUs and transferred lots of plots of its land to a number of companies, it is not clear about their background and how many offices and factories were set up at ground zero. Investigations are on and a team of neutral journalists associated with www.jharkhandstatenews.com are busy collecting officials records and the ground reality to expose the status of these MoUs.

Alongside, while many parts of the state have been in grip of acute power shortage for months, the state Agriculture Department, backed by the CM Das has declared to hold the Global Agriculture Summit.

The Summit is scheduled to be organized on November 29 and 30 in Ranchi. The CM, who has already held a high-level meeting on the summit and preparations, has directed officials to make best arrangements for the summit.

On the occasion, the so-called 'best' performing farmers in the field of organic farming are planned to be listed and felicitated. “They will share their experiences with others", says the CM.

Also, there is a plan to invite the farmers and agriculture ministers of those states that are doing well in cultivation." Invite agriculture experts and organize road shows in all the districts,” said the CM has instructed officials.

During the Momentum Jharkhand, Das had said the motive behind this Investors Meet was to promote industry in the state and make it a 'hub' of industrialists. Now, he says the goal of the government is to make Jharkhand 'hub of agricultural activities in eastern India."

More, the announcement has been made that a roadshow will be organized in Delhi on October 9 to attract investors in the field of agriculture. Invitations for the Roadshow have been given to Ambassadors of different countries with the help of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

How much of the public fund is going to be spent on this 'Organic Farming Summit' and what will be its outcome? Scribes linked with www.jharkhandstatenews.com will try to answer these questions in the time to come. Keep a watch
