His Twitter handle has shared a Bollywood film song attacking Bihar CM Nitish Kumar. The song Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Yaee" was sung by Kumar Sonu.

On Monday, Bihar CM had inaugurated the statue of the RSS thinker Pandit Deendayal Upadhaya in Patna and paid tributes to him. By sharing this image of Nitish Kumar, Lalu Yadav made his mockery by twitting: "Le Ke Sangh Mukt Bharat Ka Bharm Chaley Aaye, Le Ke Aapna Bharm Chale Aaye."
