Yet another flight carrying stranded Jharkhandi labourers from Leh-Ladakh is coming to Ranchi on Friday.

The flight is sponsored by the state government led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

They were already on board a flight to Delhi. They had checked in, said CM Hemant Soren who had issued a directive to airlift and bring them to Ranchi by charted flight to Ranchi.

These workers were working for the Border Road Organisation at Batalick -Kargil sector. They had sought help from the CM on his Tweeter account. Soren requested Ladakh administration and gathered details of their backgrounds on the state portal app and got them registered.

More, on May 12, Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh wrote a letter to Union Home Secretary seeking clearance to airlift Jharkhand migrants from Andaman. on the state government's fund. The Centre's response was awaited.
