Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren inspected the arrangements at newly constructed houses of the displaced colony at Kute, Ranchi and the Covid ward being constructed in the Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium complex at Khelgaon and gave necessary directions to the officials.

The Chief Minister said that Covid testing has been expedited by the state government, which is why the number of Corona infected patients is continuosly increasing in the state. 

At present, 8 to 9 thousand Covid-19 tests are being done in the entire state everyday. As the tests increases, the number of Corona infected patients will also increase. He said that there will be no shortage of beds in hospitals. The government is closely monitoring the medical facilities being provided to the patients.

The Chief Minister said that it is the responsibility of the state government to provide better medical facilities for Corona patients. The State Government is working with commitment to ensure quality medical facilities to the patients. The state government is also working in the direction of increasing beds in the state, and space is also being identified for this.

The Chief Minister said that 3 to 4 thousand beds are being increased immediately. Presently, isolation centres have been set up at the newly constructed houses in the displaced colony at Kute, Ranchi and at the Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium complex in Khelgaon. 

The work of increasing beds in the state for the Corona infected patients is in progress. The Chief Minister has appealed to the people of the state not to have any fear regarding beds and medical facilities. The state government is serious since the beginning of the Corona and will not leave any stone unturned to fight against this pandemic.

The Chief Minister has directed the officials to provide all the facilities at the Covid centres as per the established standards. He also gave necessary guidelines during the inspection of the Covid ward. He took complete information regarding ICU, isolation ward and Quarantine ward.
