The confluence of two rivers- Auranga and Koel-in Palamau district of Jharkhand witnessed the death of three swimmers.

These three swimmers were either youth or teenagers. They were among seven boys who had gone there to take bath. But they got drowned on Tuesday morning at the confluence of Aurangabad and Koel rivers in Jharkhand’s Palamau district.  

“Three of them had lost balance and drowned in front of the overflow of water of these rivers”, said an eye witness. 

The rescuers had found the body of one of them. And efforts were still(till 4 pm on Tuesday) underway to trace the other two swimmers, reports said.
