Jharkhand Public Service Commission today registered the entry of Amitabh Choudhary. He took charge as its Chairman on Wednesday.

He, who was appointed by the Hemant Soren government, is the eighth Chairman of the JPSC setup after Jharkhand was created as 28th state of India in the millennium year 2000.

Choudhary,who had quit Indian Police Service after attaining exemplary records of crime control in Naxal hit Palamau and crime prone Ranchi,is credited to have institutionalised Jharkhand State Cricket Association and built its International Cricket Stadium.
