The Government of India has appointed R.S.Sharma as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), National Health Authority(NHA) in the rank of Secretary to the GoI on a contract basis of a period of two years.

This order was notified by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel on January 27,2021.

As NHA CEO, Sharma, 1978 batch IAS officer of Bihar- Jharkhand cadre, who was Chief Secretary of Jharkhand, Secretary of Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Chief of UIDAI and Chairman of TRAI, is learnt to be monitoring the implementation of COVID Vaccines in India today.

No wonder why “India is setting an example for the world by vaccinating its citizens faster than any other country”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said today in the latest episode of his monthly radio programme ‘ Mann Ki Baat.’
