Tata Main Hospital witnessed the 62nd Lamp Lighting of School of Nursing along with the inauguration of CT scan facility.

School of Nursing, Tata Main Hospital held its 62nd Lamp Lighting ceremony for probationary nurses today in TMH Auditorium. Around 40 probationer nurses were introduced into the training after a pledge to maintain their professional loyalty. Surekha Nerurkar graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and T P Madhusudanan, GM, Medical Services was present as the Guest of Honor.

Surekha Nerurkar lit the lamp along with all the other invited dignitaries. 40 new joinees for the academic year 2012-2015 were sworn in with the Nightingale pledge administered by the Nursing Superintendent, Marykutty Babu.

AVM (Retd.) T P Madhusudanan, General Manager (Medical Services) addressed the students. Lt. General (Retd.) G Ramdas, Chief, Tata Main Hospital and many other senior officials and doctors were present on the occasion. Nerurkar gave away the prizes to the first position holders of the respective batches.

Incidentally,a CT scan facility was installed inside the Tata Main Hospital premises.Nerurkar inaugurated the facility today at JGMH, Tata Main Hospital.
