Soon after a total of 16 people went missing after a boat capsized due to a storm near Barbendia bridge in Jamtara district of Jharkhand, Chief Minister Hemant Soren intervened to launch rescue operation.
A team of Jamtara district administration and NDRF has started operation to rescue the victims.
