In a first-of-its-kind initiative, a high-level delegation led by Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilizers visited Jordan.

Result?

India and Jordan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to have enhanced cooperation in Fertilizer Sector amid the Global Fertilizers crisis.

The MoU entails the commitment of Jordan to supply 30 LMT Rock Phosphate, 2.50 LMT DAP, and 1 LMT phosphoric acid for the current year, ahead of the ensuing cropping season in India.

It’s said to be a long-term MOU signed with Jordan for annual supplies of 2.75 LMT. It is expected to uniformly increase annually up to 3.25 LMT.
