Senior Justice of Uttarakhand High Court Sanjay Kumar Mishra has been made Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court.

The warrant of appointment toward this end was issued by the office of President Draupadi Murmu and signed by the Union Ministry of Law’s Additional Secretary Rajindar Kashyap.

On December 13, the SC collegium had recommended the appointment of Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra as CJ of Jharkhand High Court.

Right now Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh is the acting Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court.
