Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India is slated to visit Jharkhand on March 23 to provide Rs 5000 crore highway projects to the state.

On the day of his arrival, Mr. Gadkari is scheduled to kick start/ lay foundation stones of several highway projects worth Rs 4,468 crores including the Ranchi- Jamshedpur highway project.

Ranchi office of the National Highway Authority of India has prepared a list of highway projects meant for Jharkhand. Another list of highway projects has been finalized. The foundation stones of these highway projects will be laid by Mr. Gadkari.
