Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to flag off the first Vande Bharat Express of Jharkhand and its mother state Bihar,connecting Ranchi and Patna on May 10,a senior official told JharkhandStateNews.com.

The Railway has already begun preparatory work for the grand launch this train in the region.
"Yes, it is true that Vande Bharat Express will be launched soon in Bihar- Jharkhand.We are targeting May 10 to launch this special train.The Prime Minister is likely to launch it, he said.

As per information gained from railway authorities, the maintenance of this premier train will take place at Hatia station near Ranchi where modification works are in progress.

Already,Divisional Railway Manager Pradeep Gupta had inspected the Hatia Yard and directed concerned officers to finish shortcomings as soon as possible.

Apart from Ranchi- Patna, the plan is afoot to launch Vande Bharat  Express train on Howrah - Bhuvneshwar route also.
