Notably, the central government’s Unnat Bharat Abhiyan focuses on micro-community development program with the help of higher educational institutions.
The first phase explores the scope of intervention for community development. For this, 20 household surveys and two focused group discussions were conducted today in the village through structured questionnaires and open-ended questions.
It was found by the team that intervention can be done by the government in water replenishment, primary education, training and skill development for women self-help groups and development of youth clubs through which cultural development can be done. In addition to this, a major bottleneck for development noticed by the team was that the people are unaware of the government schemes that are available to them under the esteemed initiative.
