Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday launched raids at the premises of Congress MLA Pradeep Yadav on a money laundering case cum possession of properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Pradeep Yadav represents the Poreyahat Assembly constituency in the Godda district of Jharkhand. The ED sleuths have raided the premises of Pradeep Yadav on information furnished by the Income Tax Department.

On November 4, 2022, the IT sleuths had conducted raids at the premises of two Congress  MLAs- Pradeep Yadav and Kumar Jai Mangal Singh alias Anup Singh.

While Pradeep Yadav’s residences in Ranchi and Godda were raided, Anup Singh’s Bermo and Ranchi residences were searched.

Today’s raids were still going on. Information reaching Ranchi indicates the ED sleuths were involved in a search operation at the residential premise of Pradeep Yadav at his residence in Poreyahat as well.
