The FIR filed by a 22-year-old model in Versova police station in Mumbai against the owner of a Ranchi-based grooming institute, alleging that she was raped and blackmailed her for a period of one year, has been transferred to Gonda police station in Ranchi.

“A team of police officers is going to Mumbai to gather facts about the case”, says a police officer in Ranchi.

In the FIR, the girl who hails from Bhagalpur in Bihar, and got admitted in Ranchi based grooming institute run by the accused Tanveer Khan, has alleged that this man had threatened and sent her obscene photos to her relatives if she narrated her ordeal. While forcing the Hindu girl to marry him, he even pressured her to get converted to Islam.

According to the ANI report, the Versova Police had booked Khan under sections 376(2)(N), 328,506,504,323 of the IPC, and section 67 of the IT Act.

While the Ranchi police has failed to contact the accused and the complainant, Tanveer Khan had recorded a video and claimed this.

"The allegations put against me are completely false. She circulated my nude photos among my friends and relatives. She took the help of her friends and boyfriend. She wanted to steal my data of over 60,000 international & Indian models and use them as she had access to the data."
