Due to the continuity of the heatwave, the Jharkhand government has ordered all schools to cancel all academic activities of KG to Class 7  till June 17,  2023. 

The academic activities of Class 9 to Class 12 will remain uninterrupted from June 15, 2023, onwards.

A notice regarding the same has been issued by the School Education and Literacy Department, Jharkhand Government. 

The order is for all government and private schools. As per the information, the schools were supposed to open on June 12. However, now the holidays have been extended for three more days.
