Triple murders shocked Jharkhand on the day of Raksha Bandhan. Three deceased belonged to one one family- husband and his two wives.

The shocking crime was committed in Tirla village falling under Ormanjhi block of Ranchi district at 11 am on Thursday. 

 As a result, shock and grief had gripped Tirla village where residents were not able to celebrate Raksha Bandhan festival. 

 According to the police, all three were a lethal iron rod called Dabia.The murders of Ganeshwar Bedia,his wife Sarita Devi and second wife Sanju Debi, fled, said a report quoting the police SI Ramesh Singh. 

The police have sent the bodies for post mortem. While the report was awaited, investigation has begun. No arrest was made so far. Neither the identity of the murderers nor motive of the crime was known.
