Cops are yet to nab the sharpshooter who had killed a coal trader Abhisheikh Srivastava in Ranchi on Thursday morning.

“Investigation is going on. We will nab the shooter”, said Vikash Singh, SI of Ratu police station in Ranchi. 

The incident of crime is Pirra under jurisdiction of Ratu police station.As per the FIR,Srivastava was outside his house in Asthapuram complex when a group of five shooters arrived. One of them shot at him and fled, said the FIR. 

The injured Srivastava, a coal trader, was rushed to a private hospital where he was declared dead. Eyewitness account has it that shooters had arrived there by one Scorpio vehicle. 

The police is struggling to investigate the motive behind the crime. The Opposition BJP state incharge and ex CM Babulal Marandi has criticised the Hemant Soren government for what he said, its “ failure” to maintain law and order in the state.
