Ranchi:Grid Controller of India Limited (GRID-INDIA), a wholly owned Government of India Schedule A enterprise under the Union Ministry of Power, reaffirms its commitment to societal well-being through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. 

In a significant stride towards inclusive development, Grid-India conducted a distribution camp of aids and assistive devices for persons with disabilities (Divyangjan) on January 30, 2024 in collaboration with the Artificial Limb Manufacturing Corporation (ALIMCO), a Government of India undertaking at CRC Ground, Namkum, Ranchi, Jharkhand. 

The camp was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries Dr. Pravin Kumar ,BDO (Namkum Block), Sh. Suryamani Prasad, Director(CRC-Ranchi), Sh. Manoj Kumar Karmali, Director (Project),JUSNL, Sh.Sanjay Mandal, (JM)- ALIMCO, Sh. Rajib Sutradhar, Executive Director, ERLDC, Sh. Shyamal Konar, Sr.General Manager, ERLDC along with other officials from Grid-India, Kolkata office for the distribution of aids and assistive devices, including Battery operated Motorized Tricycles, Hand Propelled Tricycles, Wheelchairs to 83 beneficiaries under the said project. 

Grid-India, as a responsible entity under The Electricity Act, 2003, plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrated operation of the National Electricity Grid in a secure manner. Comprising five Regional Load Despatch Centres (RLDCs) and the National Load Despatch Centre (NLDC), Grid-India's commitment to CSR reflects its dedication to making a positive impact on the society.
