Yet another case of cash recovery has surfaced in Jharkhand where enforcement agencies have recovered Rs 10 lakh cash from inside the side box of a bike in Giridih district of Jharkhand.

Giridih SDPO Dhananjay Ram informed that during a normal search operation, the Flying Squad team recovered Rs 9.95 lakh cash from the dickey of a mo-bike and seized it on Monday night along roadside falling under Saria police station jurisdiction.

As per the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India, nobody was allowed to carry more than Rs 50,000 cash. Records show that Flying Squad teams had seized Rs 4,658.16 crore worth of narcotics, alcohol, cash, precious metals, and other freebies meant as inducements for voters.
