BJP leader Union Tribal Affairs and Agriculture Minister Arjun Munda who is trailing is inching to get defeated by Congress candidate Kalicharan Munda in Khunti. 

Arjun Munda is trailing by a margin of about 97,345 votes to Congress candidate Kalicharan Munda. 

Also, BJP candidates are trailing in the tribal seats of Singhbhum, Dumka, Lohardaga, and Rajmahal. 

The INDIA bloc - with the Congress and JMM in alliance - is leading from all five of these constituencies. In the other nine seats, BJP candidates and its Ally AJSU were leading in eight seats and one seat respectively.
