With an aim to popularise ‘Nutrition For Every Child’,a body called World Vision India is set to organise a two-days Grassroot Football (Cluster Level) tournament.

As per the schedule, the tournament will be held at Harmu Maidan in Ranchi on September 15-16.

In this tournament as many as 18 teams-9 teams each for boys and girls are expected to participate in the tournament.

Reports claimed that more than 1000 people from the Slum Development Committees, SHG, Youth / Children Clubs, etc. are going to witness the tournament.

“We want to popularise the concept through this tournament. This is necessary because by playing any games/sports like football, boys and girls can keep themselves healthy for development activities. This can end malnutrition”,said Shankar Sahu,a worker who was connected with World Vision India.
