The Hemant Soren government is on recruitment mode. It is apparent from announcement made by the Jharkhand Selection Staff Commission to recruit over 800 Junior clerk, stenographer and junior clerk.  

The official information has been released on the website. 

The release states that Interested candidates can apply through the official website of the Jharkhand Selection Staff Commission, jssc.nic.in. 

Applications are invited for a total of 864 positions. There are 836 for junior clerks (Regular), 27 posts for stenographers and 1 for junior clerks (Backlog). 

The age limit for the candidates applying for this recruitment in Jharkhand is 35 years. Age relaxation is given for reserved candidates. 

To apply for these posts, the candidates must check if they are eligible or not. There are some criteria for applying for the post of junior clerk. 

The candidates must have passed 12th from a recognised board. Additionally, they are required to demonstrate a typing speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi. For stenographers, it is mandatory to be 12th pass. 

They must be proficient in stenography at a speed of 80 words per minute and Hindi typing at 30 words per minute. The application fee has been set at Rs 100 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, and Rs 50 for SC, ST, and PH candidates. The candidates must complete the registration process first. 

Following this, they need to fill in all the required details and then submit the application fee. Selection for these positions will be based on a written exam, skill test, and document verification.
