Ahead of the Assembly polls 2024, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren has made a new announcement. The age of the beneficiary of the Mukhya Mantri Maiya Samman Yojna will be reduced to 18 years. 

Right now the age of the woman beneficiary is 21 years to 50 years. 

This announcement was made by CM Soren while addressing a public meeting, which was organized to online transfer Rs 1000 to a group of beneficiaries via Direct  Benefit Transfer in the Chotanagour division of the state in Namkom, Ranchi on Wednesday.

A large number of women were mobilized to attend this public meeting. 

Addressing them, CM Soren said that his government is working in the interest of the people of the state. By economically empowering women, the state government is moving forward.
