DGP DK Pandey on Monday inaugurated a Police Station at Thakur Gaon in Ranchi district.

The inauguration function was attended by senior police officers.The Thakur police station was set up on a hill at Thakur Gaon.”The main aim to establish the police station is to provide security to people of Thakur Gaon”,said the DGP.

Thakur Gaon village is home of prosperous farmers in Ranchi district.On the occasion,the DGP distributed football,blankets and sewing machines among children.

Ranchi SSP Kuldip Diwedi said:”Whatever task was set before it,the police in Ranchi had tried to meet it.”
