On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL) held a special event that included a cleanliness drive, a poster-making competition, and spending time with the elderly at a local old age home. 

This initiative was organized collaboratively by the university's Gandhian Peace Club and the Center for Peace and Research in Tribal Rights. In the competition, students aimed to convey the message of keeping the Earth clean and safe, aligned with the principles of Mahatma Gandhi.

Through their posters, students also emphasized the importance of respecting those who work in the cleaning profession. *Highlights of the Competition:* A total of 9 posters were created. Rajshri Tigga and Anushka Gautam made posters individually. 

Five teams collaborated to create posters, including participants Gautam, Ambika, Vishal, umbul topno. Shruti and iris, sakshi, anisha, , anish and paul. 

*The best posters will receive awards of 1000, 500, and 300, respectively.* 

As part of the cleanliness drive, students cleaned various areas of the university. Following this, they visited the old age home to spend quality time with the elderly. Student Rajat expressed, "We were very happy to spend time with the them. We sang songs together, shared joy, and learned valuable life lessons from them."

Dr. Prof. Ashok R. Patil, Vice Chancellor of the university, stated, "The new generation is not only active in cleanliness drives but also in spreading awareness. 

Spending time in the old age home shows that they understand emotions and values." This event is not only an effort to keep the principles of Gandhi alive but also a step towards raising awareness about cleanliness and respect in society.
