Without any report of casualty, the gun battle between security forces and Naxals has rocked Chhattisgarh.
According to the police, a gun battle started between security personnel and Naxalites in Chhattisgarh's Bastar region on Friday afternoon.
PTI report said the gunfight started at around 1 pm in the Abhujmaad forest along the border of Narayanpur and Dantewada districts.
The intermittent exchange of fire was still going on, PTI quotes a police officer sa saying.
A joint team of security personnel was reportedly involved in the action and they are reported to be safe. “ There is no casualty till now”, said a police officer in Dantewada.
