The Hemant Soren has notified that senior IAS officer Avinash Kumar will continue to serve as the Additional Chief Secretary cum Principal Secretary to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. 

Three other top police officers were transferred. One, Ajay Kumar Singh, DGP, is transferred and posted as Chairman cum Managing Director of Jharkhand Pilice Housing Construction Ltd.

He will be succeeded by Anurag Gupta who was appointed DGP by the Soren Govt before the assembly polls were notified by the Election Commission. 

Three, Ajit Peter Dungdung, Jharkhand Armed Police-6, is given charge of SP, Deoghar. And Ambar Lakra, DC, Deoghar, was posted as Commandant, JAP-3. Besides, senior IPS Anurag Gupta again appointed as the DGP of Jharkhand.
