As the state mourns the death of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the ‘Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana’ programme, scheduled for December 28 in Khojatoli, Namkum, Ranchi, has been postponed. 

Dr. Manmohan Singh died on Thursday, at 92 in New Delhi. 

The Union government has declared a national mourning, The National Flag will be flown at half-mast on the days of mourning throughout India in all buildings where it is flown regularly and there will be no official entertainment on the days.

Despite this, the disbursement of Rs 2,500 to beneficiary women under the scheme has already begun in Jharkhand, with funds being transferred to accounts in multiple districts.
