The show captured Jharkhand’s stunning landscape and its vibrant culture. The Discovery Channel episode on “Witness Jharkhand's nature in its purest form | Promo | Discovery Channel” is witnessed on YouTube by 1.35 million people across the globe. 

It’s the state where waterfalls cascade in harmony, and ancient temples stand silent witness to history. 

In the new travel documentary- ‘Jharkhand: The Hidden Heart of India’, actress and model Simone Singh of the Discovery channel takes viewers on an intimate, first-hand journey through this enchanting region. 

She serves as host and guide, walking through the heart of the state, uncovering its secrets with a sense of awe and reverence. Tanaz Mehta, Business Head at Warner Bros. 

Discovery entered into a partnership with Jharkhand Tourism for this series. They go beyond producing another super travel show. It represents a shared vision to showcase a state that remains largely undiscovered to a wider audience in India and abroad. 

In the first episode, viewers move from the peaceful hills of Netarhat to the simmering waters of Patratu Dam, experiencing Jharkhand’s raw and virgin forest and the untamed beauty of Nature. Also, each stop on her journey highlights the perfect harmony between the state’s untamed landscapes and its age-old traditions.

She has video-graphed local cuisine like Dhuska Chola and admired the intricate artistry of Dokra metalwork. Simon’s experience feels like a love letter to Jharkhand’s heritage, states a report in Times of India. 

The credit for signing the deal with WBD goes to Anjali Yadav, Director of Jharkhand Tourism. They have shown Jharkhand’s untouched beauty and give viewers a first-hand experience of the state.
