For the first time, theme of the 38th National Games is “Green Games”. In a move considered sustainable, this move can promote campaign against plastic in the event branding. 

So instead of plastic, recyclable sun fabric has been utilised for hoardings and billboards in Dehradun. 

The bill boards cover an extensive 6 lakh square feet area, ensuring they can be reused and recycled after the event. 

This eco-friendly measure aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and it lays focus on responsible consumption, climate action, and preserving natural resources.
