Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu on Friday carried a green campaign inside the new Assembly complex in Ranchi.

The campaign was participated by Chief Minister Raghubar Das,Speaker Dinesh Oraon,Leader of the Opposition and the JMM Acting President Hemant Soren and scores of MLAs and staff of the state forest department.

Addressing them,the Governor not only talked about the problem of climate change,but also told them that the people of Jharkhand were fortunate because its land was green.More,she appealed to them to plant trees in their own constituencies.

Talking about herself,the Governor informed them that 500 Sal trees,3000 fruit trees and a pond were put up inside the Raj Bhawan complex recently.
